I have just uploaded version r2 of the windows installer. This
corrects the issues with GULP. To use XtalOpt with gulp, download the
windows gulp package from
https://projects.ivec.org/gulp/downloads.html and extract the
Exe/gulp.exe file.
Now when you run XtalOpt, there is a new option under System Settings
that asks for the location of the GULP executable. Point it to the
gulp.exe you just extracted, and follow the other steps as usual.
Note that I have found a new bug in the windows version regarding the
generation of random numbers. It seems that the generator is reseting
occasionally. I am working to correct this. Note that this bug is only
in the windows version -- the Linux implementation does not show this
behavior.
