[XtalOpt-devel] can't build openbabel/avogadro/xtalopt with make

Hi Neven,

If you want to build the GUI for OpenBabel, you are welcome to do so. It
requires the wxwidgets libraries (which you may not have installed).

However, for using XtalOpt, the GUI for OpenBabel is not necessary. You may
get more success by following the guide here:
http://xtalopt.github.io/install-mac.html

For the cmake command, the instructions say to do:

cmake .. -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS=-stdlib=libstdc++ -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$HOME
-DBUILD_GUI=FALSE

That is, the GUI will be turned off.
